چکیده
With the increasing penetration of wind power, large-scale integrated turbine brings stability and security risks to power grid. For aggregated modeling large farms, it is crucial consider low voltage ride-through (LVRT) characteristics. However, in aggregation methods, approximate neglect behavior essential, which leads inevitable errors process. Moreover, lack parameters practice new challenges a farm. To address these issues, novel cyber-physical method proposed. This not only overcomes problem under black-box farm but also accurately realizes error fitting according operation data. The simulation results reveal that proposed can simulate dynamic behaviors various scenarios, whether LVRT mode or normal mode.

Equivalent modeling of PMSG-based wind power plants considering LVRT capabilities: electromechanical transients in power systems
Hardware protection and control action are two kinds of low voltage ride-through technical proposals widely used in a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG). This paper proposes an innovative clustering concept for the equivalent modeling of a PMSG-based wind power plant (WPP), in which the impacts of both the chopper protection and the coordinated control of active and reactive powers a...

In this paper performance analysis of Doubly Fed Induction Generator under abnormal condition is analysed. In recent years, this series compensated transmission system will produce unwanted effect of sub synchronous resonance. Super Conducting Magnetic Energy Storage (SMES) provides an efficient damping for sub synchronous resonance that will enhance power system stability in addition to real a...
متن کاملA New Method to Study Aggregation Effect of Harmonic Current Emissions in a Wind Farm Based on Type-III Wind Turbine Average Modeling
Assessment of complex harmonic current contribution of each wind turbines at connection point of a wind farm to the grid (primary emission) is presented in this paper. Moreover, contribution of grid background harmonic voltage distortion on harmonic current distortion (secondary emission) of each turbine is also evaluated. Both assessments are represented based on primary and secondary transfer...
متن کاملAnalysis and simulation of dynamic performance for DFIG-based wind farm connected to a distrubition system
Local renewable resources such as wind and solar are often available in remote locations. Wind farms consist of many individual wind turbines which are connected to the electric power transmission network. A wind farm can use the wind resources from a certain area efficiently. Double-fed induction generator (DFIG) is a generating principle widely used in wind turbine (WT). DFIG are ab...

This paper focuses on PSS/E modeling of wind farms of Doubly-fed Induction Generator (DFIG) type and their impact on issues of power system operation. Since Wind Turbine Generators (WTG) don’t have the same characteristics as synchronous generators, the appropriate modeling of wind farms is essential for transmission system operators to analyze the best options of transmission grid reinforcemen...
